Horton not a Zona lock

Those of you that assume DeSoto, Texas, standout Donald Horton Jr. is a lock for Arizona, stop assuming. That’s because the three-star strongside defensive end that is 6-foot and 238 pounds is starting to like another program, too.
“I still feel the same about Arizona, and they’re right up there on my list, but Missouri is up there now with them,” Horton said. “At the very beginning, I really felt like Missouri would be a good place for me, but I couldn’t find out what programs they offer in criminal justice.

“I want to be an FBI profiler, and I couldn’t find out what type of program they had at Missouri for that, so I kind of wrote them off. Then I talked to the coaches and they said they have a few guys on the team that are already studying for that and the program is really good up there.”
So after he takes an official visit to Arizona next weekend on September 17, Horton has now scheduled an official visit to Missouri for October 2. He’s also interested in visiting Kasnas State and Iowa, but the Wildcats and Hawkeyes are behind UofA and Missouri.
Horton helped DeSoto beat Garland 21-16 last week.
