This weekend he took his first official visit, when he made the trip to Lincoln to check watch Nebraska take on Baylor.“I haven’t been back but just a few minutes,” Horton said. “I really enjoyed that trip a lot. I did not commit, but this puts them in my top two along with Auburn. “

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Horton was given the red carpet treatment by everyone in the Husker nation.
“My host was No. 11, the linebacker,” Horton said. “His last name was Cooper, but I don’t really know his first name because everyone was calling him ‘Coop’ and that’s what he told me to call him. The coaches were really nice. Coach Blake and Coach Callahan told me how much they wanted me and needed in their program.
The whole community up there is great. A lot of them knew who I was and they all told me that they would love to have me. They really make you feel like family. They really appreciated and just take you in like one of their own.”
Already this season Horton has collected over 100 tackles, five sacks, forced two fumbles and blocked a kick.
“I set up two more official visits,” Horton said. “I am going to Tennessee on December 10 and I am taking one to Michigan State on November 5, I believe it is. I know Auburn will get an official visit and I am unsure about my last one right now.”
