When Jay Horn left Cincinnati (Ohio) Christian to become offensive coordinator at Waynesfield (Ohio) Goshen, he took with him his star player and son, wide receiver Joe Horn. The Horn's have helped Goshen win seven of eight games.
The 6-foot-1 and 170-pound Joe Horn has 37 receptions for 932 yards, averaging 25.2 yards per catch. He has scored 17 times, and has one interception on the other side of the ball.
Joe Horn is hoping to carry on his fine play at the next level.
"Of course I'm always interested in Ohio State," he said. "Miami, I'm very interested in going there.
"Princeton is showing tons of interest. I went there and saw the campus. It's really nice. And they have great academics.
"I also like Boston College. They have great football and great academics.
"Princeton has called. Louisville called for track. I talked to Miami. Last weekend I went to the Miami-Akron game. That was fun. I'm going to try and go up to Princeton for a game."
Who would be at the top of Joe Horn's list?
"I love Ohio State," he said. "Air Force is second. My dad went there."
