Hopkins a hot target in Texas

Universal City (Texas) Randolph two-star strongside defensive end Moton Hopkins is one of the biggest sleepers in the state of Texas. His name is never mentioned when talking about the top defenders in the state for some reason by recruiting fans.
But plenty of college coaches know good and well about him. Have any doubts, check out his official visit list.

“My top teams are Tulsa, Rice, SMU, New Mexico State and Air Force,” Hopkins, who is 6-foot-3 and 245 pounds, said.
“They all have small classes, great academics and good coaches. That’s why I like those schools the most.”
Tulsa will get first crack at him on the visit schedule on December 3. SMU will be next on December 10, followed by a visit to Rice on December 17. New Mexico State and Air Force are likely to get visits some time in January.
“I’d like to wait until I’m done with my visits,” Hopkins said.
“That’s when I would like to make my decision.”
