Hoping to narrow things down

Izaan Cross is a three-star strong side defensive end prospect from Flowery Branch (Ga.) High School. Up to this point Cross has 15 scholarship offers from Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Maryland, North Carolina, N.C. State, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Florida, Tulane, Central Florida, Wake Forest, West Virginia and East Carolina. So where does he stand?
"I haven't scratched anyone off yet," Cross said. "I mean I am trying to narrow things down but I am no where close to a top five yet. Hopefully that will be done soon."

This summer Cross made it to one camp, Georgia Tech.
"I guess that is the only trip I will make this summer. It was a pretty good camp. I hung out with the players and met some of the freshman. I worked out with the coaches and hung out with coach (Giff) Smith. I did some one on one drills. My family and I talked with Coach (Paul) Johnson for a while and he told us some great things about the school."
So with fall football starting in a mere few weeks what's the game plan for Cross when it comes to recruiting.
"First I need to narrow things down. I know I will try and get to a lot of games and get in the game day experiences at these schools. Of course teams like Maryland and Oklahoma I can't get to unless I make those official visits. But schools like South Carolina and Georgia Tech will be relatively easy."
