Hoosiers still lead for DB Smith

Sebastian Smith is still holding onto an offer from Indiana and he claims to be content with that.
In spite of the fact that no other schools have offered, Smith has declined to give his verbal commitment to the Hoosiers to date.
There's a lot of time between now and National Signing Day and the 6-foot-2, 164-pound safety from Pickerington (Ohio) Central doesn't seem to be in any hurry.
This week Smith said the Hoosiers haven't tried to pressure him into a decision, leaving his timetable up to him. While he hasn't committed to IU yet, the Hoosiers are his obvious number one choice.
"They're the school that's offered and I like them, so yeah, they're my favorite," he confirmed this week.
Actually, Smith admitted that he hasn't been in much contact with college coaches recently. He has been communicating with the Hoosiers through e-mail but that's about it. He has already visited the Big Ten school and knows what they're all about.
"It was nice," he recalled. "I liked it. It was my first visit so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it was nice. I liked the campus.
"I'm probably just going to wait and play the first couple of games this season. We've got two big games to start the year and I think I'm going to do well in those so we'll see what happens."
