Hoosiers or Wildcats for Kansas FB
Hays, Kan. fullback Brett Alstatt has recently picked up another scholarship offer and is nearing a decision.
“Kansas State called an offered me a scholarship,” the 6-foot-4, 220-pound Alstatt said. “They called right before they left for their bowl game. I’m going to visit there January 23. That is the only other visit I will take.”

Alstatt had previously visited Indiana and Wyoming.
“My decision is down to Indiana and Kansas State,” he said. “Kansas State is recruiting me to be tight end or an h-back. Indiana wants me as a linebacker.”
Alstatt is looking for the opportunity to win in college.
“I want to find a school that will give me the chance to go to compete and win,” he said. “I would like to have the chance to go in and play decently early. I don’t expect to go in and play from day one. I want to feel comfortable with the school also.”
Alstatt rushed for 1,161 yards and 14 touchdowns from his running back spot as a senior. He also returned two kick-offs for touchdowns. On defense he recorded 83 tackles.
