Hoosiers or Wildcats for Florida DT

Boca Raton, Fla. defensive tackle Alphonso Moran took visits to his two finalists before Christmas. Now he's just trying to decide between the two schools.

"Alphonso told me this morning that as of today he has cut his list to the two schools he visited early on," Boca Raton coach Brian Dodds said. "He's trying to pick between Indiana and Kansas State. Both are good schools for him and both are entirely different schools. Each offers its own style for him as a player."

The 6-foot, 270-pound Moran had visits set for North Carolina (Jan. 17) and for South Florida (Jan. 24) but he has decided not to take those visits.

"He told me he had called and cancelled those two trips and he will decide between the two he already had taken visits to. He did not give me any indication that he was favoring one school or the other. Coach (Bret) Bielema from Kansas State was here today and was going by the house to visit with Alphonso and his mother tonight."
