Hoosiers impress GA lineman

One of Georgia's premier linemen is back from an official visit to Indiana, the first of four scheduled trips. Did the visit help the Hoosiers move up his list at all?
"I don't know if they're any higher, but I had a good time," lineman Anthony Parker said. "They played a really tough game against their rival, Purdue, and showed they can compete against some of the better teams in the league. I'm going to take my other official visits and see what things look like afterwards."

The 6-foot-4, 290-pound offensive guard / defensive tackle from Lovejoy, Georgia runs the 40-yard dash in an excellent 4.7 seconds and bench presses 385 pounds.
"Indiana is still right up there with the other schools I'm considering," he added. "On Dec. 5 I plan on taking an official visit to NC State and the next week I'll be at Maryland. I think on Jan. 16 I'll be at Tennessee, assuming my schedule stays the way it is."
Parker has also shown interest in schools such as Kentucky, Mississippi State, Maryland, Wisconsin and Tennessee, among others.
"Things are pretty much even. I'd give a slight edge to the schools I'm taking official visits to, just because I'll get to see them a little bit more than the others. But there are several schools I'm still looking at."
