Holtz ready to hit the road again

JP Holtz of Pittsburgh (Pa.) Shaler Area is one of the top tight end prospects in the region, and may be close to grabbing a few more offers. Holtz will also hit the road this weekend as he heads to ACC county to check out one of the schools that has already offered him.
"Recruiting is moving along very well," said Holtz. "I'm up to ten offers and I feel that more are going to come."

Already holding offers from Michigan State, Maryland, Penn State, Boston College, Connecticut, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Rutgers and Syracuse, Holtz believes Purdue, Vanderbilt and Duke are the most likely to become his next offers.
His most recent visit was to West Virginia for their spring game, and his next visit is coming up quickly.
"I plan on visiting Maryland next week," said Holtz, who is 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds.
Holtz has not confirmed any other plans for visits or camps after Maryland, and does not have a timetable for a final decision at this time.
