Favorite Schools: Holmes has scholarship offers from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas and Texas A&M.
Skinny: "I am getting the most attention for wide receiver," Holmes said. "That is the main position. I've played some quarterback and might be some more this year. I've played safety too. But most of the schools are looking at me as a wide receiver."
Holmes, as a receiver, is one who can stretch the field.
"I'm on the sprint relays," he said. "I like to run. We won all three relays in the first meet this year. I think my speed is one of the things I can offer on the field."
While Holmes has scholarship offers from the four schools mentioned above, he doesn’t consider any of them the leader at this point.
"I want to get a chance to see some of the spring games for the schools. I'd like to get to Oklahoma State, Texas and Oklahoma's games. Just to get a chance to see what it's like. I'm getting letters from all of them all the time. They are spending a lot of time getting the letters to me."
Holmes isn't set on what he is looking for in a school.
"I wouldn't mind a chance to get out on the field early in my career. That is something that would be really nice. But I wouldn't just choose a school because of that. I want to look a the entire situation at the school."
