Holmes headed to SEC camp

Desean Holmes has been hearing from Alabama and that's surprising since he's a 2015 wide receiver.
The Mission Hills (Calif.) Bishop Alemany prospect has been considering whether to attend the Crimson Tide's summer camp and during a workout last week the 5-foot-10, 165-pound prospect came to a decision.

He will be making his way to Tuscaloosa this summer - and he's thrilled about the possibilities.
"It's going to be pretty cool," Holmes said. "It's my first time going out of California so it should be good.
"When I was working out (last Friday) we decided we were going to go. My dad told me to go have fun, compete and see who's out there."
Houston and Utah have already offered Holmes, one of the top receivers last weekend at the NIKE Air Strike tournament at Dana Hills. He was outstanding at the Pierce College 7on7 tournament two weekends ago.
Holmes has those two offers and said he's hearing from Alabama, Miami and others. There was some consideration to also attend the Hurricanes' summer camp but it looks like he'll only head to Alabama.
The 2015 standout said he's thrilled to work out there.
"It's really exciting," Holmes said. "Now I just have to work harder."
