Holmes breaks down USC trip

Desean Holmes has known USC assistant coach Tee Martin for a long time and he's getting to know the other coaches as his recruitment continues.
The four-star wide receiver from Pasadena (Calif.) Muir was one of the select 2015 prospects at USC on Saturday and Holmes said it was a very worthwhile visit.

Not only did Holmes get to spend some more time with Martin but he became more familiar with new coach Steve Sarkisian and the others.
"The staff down there is pretty chill," Holmes said. "The new coach is chill. Coach Tee Martin is really chill, too, so I really like the environment down there. It was pretty good.
"Coach Sark I saw a few weeks ago at my school and coach Tee Martin he's been recruiting me since my freshman year so I've gotten to know him pretty well."
During his junior season, Holmes said USC and Oklahoma had emerged as the favorites in his recruitment.
Those two still look good but the four-star has placed UCLA back on his list and he plans to visit Arizona State for its junior day. The Trojans are one of the favorites but Holmes is not ready to finalize anything yet.
"I still have other visits planned but right now SC is looking pretty cool," Holmes said. "They're looking good but I'm still weighing my options right now."
Rated as the No. 13 wide receiver and the No. 133 prospect in the 2015 class by Rivals.com, Holmes reports offers from Cal, Houston, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon State, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington.
