Holloway up on two schools

Cape Coral (Fla.) defeated Gulf Coast 44-14 on Friday night, improving to 6-1 on their season. Senior wide receiver Prince Holloway, all 5-foot-9, 160-pounds of him, is a big reason why the Seahawks are doing so well. Against Gulf Coast, he caught 10 passes for 235 yards and a touchdown, pushing his season total to 720 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.
His impressive numbers as a senior has led to some new interest, but it remains two old standby's at the top of his list.

"Right now I am still up on Michigan and West Virginia," Holloway said. "My coach just got a call from Rutgers. They are supposed to be sending me an offer. Florida State and South Florida are also in there with me."
He said the Wolverines and Mountaineers stand out for a simple reason.
"They have just shown me the most attention," Holloway said. "I hear from them most often."
The two schools are telling the three-star athlete the same thing.
"They are always calling me and checking up on me," Holloway said. "They make sure I am okay, checking on my grades, and keeping up with me on the football field. They show that they really care about me being ready and to come in and play in that offense. They want me to be a part of that tradition."
Holloway, who took the ACT this past Saturday, is in the process of hitting the road for some official visits.
"I haven't taken any visits yet," Holloway said. "I am working on scheduling official visits. I may just wait until after my season."
At this time, Holloway said he would like to take official visits to Michigan, West Virginia, South Florida, and Florida State. Rutgers is also a possibility if they show increased interest in the coming weeks.
As for a final decision, he said it likely won't come until after at least a couple visits. When he steps on campus, he is looking for a school that has a need for him immediately.
"Getting on the field early is a big thing," Holloway said. "Academics are also very important, and having great facilities and people surrounding me wherever I go."
While listed as an athlete, Holloway likely projects best as a slot wide receiver in a spread offense at the next level.
