Asheville, N.C. athlete Tysean Holloway holds three scholarships. The 6-foot-1, 187-pounder headed to a big camp this past week and is awaiting word on more possible offers.
"I just came from Tennessee on Wednesday for a one-day camp," he said. "It was real good. It wasn't my first time there, but it was my dad's first time and he told me to finish it, do what I want to do and I did really well.
"I talked to Coach Chaney most of the time and he let me know that they don't know where they ant to put me yet, but that's good cause it's more opportunities for me to find a spot. I talked to them for two hours after the camp and he told me I did really well. He mentioned more recruits were coming in and said I was pretty high on their chart. He said he'd let me know by this Friday of their decision."
Holloway confirmed he's expecting to hear from Notre Dame on Friday as well about a potential offer too.
The versatile athlete has made it no secret Tennessee is a potential leader. If a scholarship comes, could he commit?
"I'd have to think about it, but the chances are pretty good," he said. "I just really want to see what other offers are out there.
"Minnesota is talking to me. I don't want to string it out too long, but I don't want to sell myself short either."
Currently Holloway holds three offers from Georgia Tech, North Carolina and Western Carolina.
