Hollis could have more

Detroit Northwestern cornerback Anthony Hollis is one of the top overall players in Detroit and is one of the better cornerbacks in the Midwest. The 5-foot-9, 165-pounder is only aware of one scholarship offer, but he might have more that he's not aware of.
"Indiana and a couple other schools have been mailing me a lot, but my coach holds my mail," he said. "All I know about is the Ball State offer, but I think I might have quite a few more. My top teams, though, are Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois and Ohio State."

Hollis, who has a 4.4 40-yard dash time and a 4.10-shuttle time, said he would like to stay near home to play college football.
"I'd like to go somewhere in the Big 10," he said. "I want to try to start my freshman year and get some playing time."
Hollis hopes to impress one of the local schools here next week.
"I went to the Michigan camp last year, but the one this year is coming up, and I'm planning on going to that," he said. "I'd really like to show them what I've got. I think they're going to like what they see."
When it comes to the 2007 season, Hollis is already excited.
"There's nothing standing in our way," he said. "We've got the same team we've had from the last three years coming back. We've been playing together a long time and this is our year to do it."
