Hollins still high on Big 12 school

Baton Rouge (La.) Redemptorist defensive end Jonathan Hollins has one official visit under his belt so far, but it appears that one team is already jumping out in his mind as an early leader.
When the 6-foot-3, 228-pound three-star defender took in Texas Tech as his first official visit, he came away very impressed with the Red Raiders. Though he will take other trips, he is pretty high on the Big 12 school.

"The trip was a long way from home, but when I got there it wasn't so bad," Hollins said. "It's a nice play and a nice community. The college was just beautiful. They're my favorite right now. I liked what I saw and it was just a good all-around place to be."
That will not be his last trip. Ole Miss has been scheduled for Dec. 2.
"I don't really have a specific reason why they were next on the list, but I want to take as many trips as I can. I want to see how everything plays out before I make a decision."
Hollins said that he wants to have his commitment made after his season ends.
"I think at that point, I'll have a good idea of where I need to be for the next several years," he said.
