Holler talks up Big Ten vs. Big East

Lancaster (Pa.) JP McCaskey offensive lineman Joel Holler got to compare the Big East with the Big Ten after his recent visits to Ohio State and Virginia Tech. How do they stack up?
"They were different," said the massive 6-foot-6, 330-pounder. "It was colder in Virginia than it was in Ohio, which was really weird. The crowd at Ohio State was bigger, but I think the Virginia Tech fans were louder if that's possible. Both places have great atmospheres."

Holler said he liked the way both teams run the football and rely on their big offensive line.
"The offensive line won both of the games I saw," he said of Ohio State's huge win over Michigan and Virginia Tech's 21-9 win over Virginia. "They play smashmouth football at both places which is what linemen like."
Holler is also excited about the future running game at both schools.
"OSU has (Maurice) Clarett and Tech has Kevin Jones and you can't find two better young running backs," he said. "I heard of both of them in high school, especially Kevin because he was from Pennsylvania. If my last three visits are as good as my first two, I'm going to have trouble deciding."
Holler is off to Penn State this weekend (Dec. 6) and then has Miami on Dec. 13. If he needs a fifth visit, it will be to Pitt most likely on Jan. 10.
"I'll probably need all five, but I don't know," he said. "Right now I don't really know which school I like the best. It's harder than I thought it would be."
