Holler gets offer on trip

Lancaster (Pa.) JP McCaskey offensive lineman Joel Holler got the offer he was waiting for on his most recent official visit.
"I got my offer from Miami, although they had pretty much told me they had offered all along," said the 6-foot-6, 330-pounder. "But it's good to hear it straight from the head coach and see it in writing."

Holler said the visit really opened his eyes.
"When you get down there and see how everything works, you understand how they win all the time," he said. "Everything was planned out from start to finish and it was all very organized. I had a good time with the other offensive linemen. Those are the guys I have the most in common with and they talked about the way the offense prepares you for the NFL."
Holler has already been to Ohio State, Penn State and Virginia Tech and has Pitt set for Jan. 3.
"After that, it's decision time," he said. "I can't really say who I like the best because I try not to focus on one visit over another. I have to compare all five of them with my family and see which one fits what I want in a school. It will be a combination of location, academics, the offense they run and my comfort level. All five of them are winning programs."
