Holland waiting to take visits

Malcolm Holland won't be signing this week but the Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton athlete is fine with waiting because Boise State could offer and the 5-foot-11, 175-pound recruit said the Broncos are definitely his favorite.
Holland, who will visit Yale this weekend and Air Force the next before going to Boise State the weekend of Feb. 18, said the Broncos' coaching staff has been in contact but wants to wait to offer him until after National Signing Day.

"I'm scheduled for a visit and we'll see how that goes," Holland said. "I'm not going to be signing on signing day.
"I'm fine with that. My head coach has pretty much told me I'll probably be getting an offer from them so it's a good deal."
The Boise State coaching staff has been in contact with Holland, who could play on either side of the field, and has asked him preliminary recruiting questions. Coaches have also told Holland that they've watched his film - a good sign for the Hamilton standout who would almost definitely commit if offered.
"I talked to them this week and they told me that they're excited to have me up for a trip," Holland said.
"They've been watching a lot of my film and they were asking basic questions and they just can't wait to have me up."
After trips to Yale and Air Force over the next two weekends, Holland plans to finally make it to Boise State later in February. Waiting to sign isn't preferred but Holland is willing to do it if it means playing for the Broncos.
"It's not a big deal for me," Holland said. "I'll be happy for all my teammates signing but for me I know what I want to do and if I have to wait for it, I'll wait for it. I'm fine with being patient."
