Holcombe to visit at least six

Keith Holcombe is one of the South's fastest-rising linebackers and the Tuscaloosa (Ala.) native went on the record this week.
Holcombe has camped at Alabama and visited Georgia Tech recently. Alabama, his home town school, was impressed with what he showed at camp but he is still waiting for an offer.

"I thought I did extremely well at the Alabama camp. They said they were very impressed with my movement, my footwork and my ability to change direction. They really liked my speed," Holcombe said.
While Alabama has not offered, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, NC State and plenty of mid-majors have. Now he shifts his attention to other schools that are recruiting him.
"This week I know I'm going to Mississippi State for a camp. I'm going to Vandy for a camp and a little cookout for their top prospects," he said. "Later [this summer] I'll be at Tulane, NC State, Kentucky and Louisville. I may go up to Jacksonville State too.
"Nobody's standing out yet. I'll know more probably after the month of June and halfway through July because that's when I'll have made all my visits."
Holcombe performed very well at the Rivals Camp Series and is rated a three-star prospect.
