Hokies, Tigers lead for OL

Knoxville (Tenn.) Carter offensive lineman Garrett Reynolds currently has four offers on the table with a fifth pending the results of his most recent ACT exam. So who are his favorites?
Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Clemson, and Georgia Tech have been quick to offer the 6-foot-7, 255-pound offensive tackle prospect. Vanderbilt is waiting in the wings to extend an offer if Garrett can raise his ACT score by two points. As a junior, Reynolds earned all-metro honors.

“Right now Virginia Tech, Clemson, and North Carolina are the three schools recruiting me the hardest,” explained Reynolds. “I’d say Virginia Tech and Clemson are my two leaders.”
Reynolds sees a lot of the same attributes in his top two schools that put them above everyone else.
“I like both campuses a lot and they both have great coaching staffs with tremendous fan support,” admitted Reynolds. “Both are about three to four hours from home and have nice towns around the university as well.”
Reynolds has camped this summer at Virginia Tech as well as North Carolina. He has not set a timeline for making a decision.
“I have no idea when I think I’d be ready to make a commitment,” said Reynolds. “I’d like to take a few visits first.”
Reynolds has no immediate plans for setting up or naming schools to receive visits, but is only focused on the upcoming season at hand.
“I just want to focus on leading this team this season and winning as many games as we possibly can,” explained Reynolds.
LSU and Alabama are also beginning to show increased interest according to Reynolds, but neither has discussed extending an offer at this time.
