Chesapeake (Va.) Western Branch wide receiver Tyrique Boothe has been busy of late, visiting several of the schools that have been recruiting him.
About six weeks ago the 6-foot-1, 185-pound receiver visited Richmond. Two weeks ago he was at Charlotte down in North Carolina.
Friday he was at James Madison and on Saturday Boothe made his way to Virginia Tech, one of the schools that has offered him, along with Hampton.

The Hokies obviously have Boothe's attention and more so than ever after his weekend trip to Blacksburg.
"It was really nice there," Boothe said. "They took us around the campus and showed us everything. The locker room was really impressive. Lane Stadium was huge. I've never seen a stadium like that, that big.
"Actually I spent most of my time with coach [Cornell] Brown and some time with the receivers coach, coach [Aaron] Moorehead. They're really nice guys and have great personalities."
Of course, one would imagine Virginia Tech is in good shape of the schools showing interest and of those that have offered, but Boothe still maintains that he does not have any favorites and is keeping an open mind.
Boothe helped Western Branch to a 9-3 record last year as one of the top wide receivers in his area.
