Position: Running back
Size and speed: Johnson is 6-foot-0 and 205 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds.
Honors: Sporting News Top 50 Juniors
Statistics: Johnson carried the ball 103 times for 705 yards despite missing five games with a sprained ankle. As a sophomore Johnson rushed the ball 174 times for 1,690 yards and 24 touchdowns.
Favorite schools: Miami, Virginia Tech, Pitt, UCLA, Michigan, Ohio State
Skinny: Johnson is not only one of the nation's best running back prospects but one of the top players in the nation regardless of position. He has already been offered by Pitt, West Virginia and Iowa and should have dozens more in the coming months.
"I have very good vision and can cut well while running at full speed," said Johnson. "I run upright like Eddie George but I would say that my game most resembles Willis McGahee.
"I'm looking for a program with great prestige and national attention. I will also factor the education offered and the weather into my decision."
Right now the talented running back has two favorites.
"I like Pitt and Virginia Tech the best, but I'm still staying open," he said. "Those two programs really like to run the football and have offenses that fit me well."
