The Virginia Tech Hokies are continuing a New Jersey tradition at fullback with their latest commitment.
"I committed to Virginia Tech today," said 6-foot-1, 235-pounder Michael Green from Westville (N.J.) Deptford. "They want me as a fullback which is fine with me. I visited down there in December and just really felt good about it. I like the program and the winning tradition. They also need a fullback right away."
Green will replace another New Jersey native in the offensive backfield.

"Doug Easlick is there now and he's a New Jersey player," said Green. "I guess I'm keeping the Garden State tradition alive."
Green chose Virginia Tech over offers from Indiana and Minnesota. He won't take any other official visits.
