Hoge lists two on top

Tristen Hoge had Notre Dame as his clear leader but after a recent visit to Florida the Gators are right there as well and the 2015 offensive lineman has a tie at the top.
"It went great," Hoge said of his trip to Gainesville. "It was really great.

"I really liked how they showed us pretty much everything they have on campus athletically and academically. I really liked watching the practices. That was really fun. The coaching staff has a lot of energy and I really like that in coaches."
The Pocatello (Idaho) Highland standout who looked good at the Rivals.com Underclassmen Challenge in Dallas this summer has taken another SEC trip but Florida seemed to stand out more than the others.
Another visit to Florida this fall is expected when the Gators host in-state rival Florida State so Hoge could get an even better feel for what it's like to play there.
"It's pure SEC football down there," Hoge said.
"They don't joke around. They make sure they make great football players and they have a degree to go with it so it was a great experience overall."
Notre Dame will also receive a trip this fall. The 6-foot-4, 285-pound recruit will be in South Bend for the BYU matchup in late November. Those visits to his two favorites could help Hoge figure out which program has the edge.
"I'm planning on going to a game at each - at Notre Dame and at Florida," Hoge said. "I just want to spend more time at each place and then weigh out my options."
In total, Hoge lists offers from Boise State, BYU, Florida, LSU, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Penn State, Stanford, Utah and Washington State.
