Zach Hoffpauir has finally started to see his recruitment take off.
The Peoria (Ariz.) Centennial safety has recently picked up offers from Colorado, Washington and Arizona and many more programs are showing interest in the 5-foot-11, 195-pound recruit.
"In the past week or so I think I've gotten five offers," Hoffpauir said. "It's picked up a lot. It's exciting and I'm starting to get some pretty good offers now.

"I'm just going to wait and see who else wants to offer. I already have a top four or five so I'm going to see if any of the others offer me. That would be great but I'm just going to sit back and wait to see what happens."
Of the new offers, Hoffpauir said Washington and Arizona stand out the most mainly because he's been talking to their coaching staffs more. The Huskies hold a slight edge in his recruitment but he's not prepared yet to make a commitment.
"They all stand out to me because they're the first big ones to offer," Hoffpauir said. "I really like Washington a lot.
"There's something about the campus and the coaches I talked to. I like U of A a lot too. I haven't talked to Colorado much yet so I don't know much about them but probably the one that stands out most right now is Washington."
He recently said Penn State, USC and Oregon were his three favorites and the Nittany Lions and Ducks are two of the teams getting more involved so Hoffpauir wants to see how that plays out before anything else. Arizona State could be close to offering as well.
"Penn State is coming next week and they've been looking at me for a while," he said. "They've been looking at me longer than anyone else so hopefully that one comes. I've been talking to coach (John) Neal from Oregon and he said I'm at the top of their list."
In total, Hoffpauir has offers from Air Force, Arizona, Colorado, Montana, Navy, Northern Arizona, Toledo and Washington. In his junior season, he finished with 25 receptions for 372 yards and five touchdowns. He had 73 tackles at safety.
