Hodges keeping options open

Three-star Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County running back/safety Cedric Hodges has been holding out for a Georgia scholarship offer for quite some time now, but it appears he could be starting to look in different directions.
“Florida State and Middle Tennessee are my two favorites,” he said. “I’ve got offers from those and they are recruiting me the most, so I put them as my top two. Middle Tennessee has been coming on real strong. Their coaches really want me up there bad.”

Hodges (6-0, 180, 4.45) has also received calls from Georgia, Auburn, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Georgia Southern and a few others in recent weeks.
“Everybody else has offered,” he said. “Just not Georgia. I’m keeping my options open. I’m not ready to decide right now or anything.”
Hodges, who rushed for 1,399 yards and 19 touchdowns as a junior, said he doesn’t have his official visits mapped out yet. He definitely plans to make trips to Florida State and MTSU, however.
Through four games this season, Hodges has rushed for more than 400 yards and scored five touchdowns. He missed the first game with a minor knee injury.
Academically, he maintains a 2.4 GPA and will take the ACT in October.
