Hippeard eyeing Lehigh
Stafford (Va.) Colonial Forge pro-style quarterback Randy Hippeard is approaching Signing Day with nowhere to give his signature, but one school has stuck with him throughout the whole process. He is waiting for a few things to fall into place, then may make his pledge by the end of the month.
“Ummm, I don’t really know yet,” he commented on where his recruiting stands. “Things are in the works with Lehigh right now, and I am trying to see how that turns out.

“They have to get my SAT’s, and see if I can get in. Then we will go from there.” He hasn’t set any visits yet, but hopes things will work out soon.
“We are going to see if we can set something up soon.” he said. “I'm hoping everything works out so I don’t have to worry about it anymore.” He expects to know something in a couple of weeks.
Hippeard is 6-foot-4, weighs 195 pounds, and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds. He passed for more than 2500 yards as a senior, and threw for 27 scores. He also rushed for 215 yards.
