Hinnant landing even more offers

J.D. Hinnant continues to land big offers and they're all surprises to the three-star offensive tackle from Fountain Valley, Calif.
The latest offers for the 6-foot-5, 260-pound prospect are from Arizona State, Oregon, Cal and Duke and Hinnant said it's a really exciting time in his recruitment.

Previous to those four offers, the Fountain Valley standout had Oregon State, San Diego State and Washington State on his list.
"I'm very, very excited," Hinnant said. "I never thought this would happen and it's a great overall experience. It's cool to see what's out there and I'm excited to see what else will come.
"I'm just sitting back and letting everything happen. I'm researching the schools that have offered and letting everything happen as it comes."
Hinnant, a three-star prospect by Rivals.com, said he had been talking to those programs but when the offer came it was a shock.
All seven are still under serious consideration and Hinnant said he just wants to see what else comes in before considering a commitment.
"They've basically all been surprises," Hinnant said. "All the offers have come out of nowhere."
More schools are showing interest. He said Utah, Nebraska and Boston College are getting involved and since new things are happening often it's not the right time to name a frontrunner.
"It's too early to name a favorite," Hinnant said.
