Hinnant has busy schedule ahead

J.D. Hinnant does not have a favorite yet but after some important unofficial visits over the next few months the Fountain Valley, Calif., offensive tackle could start developing some leaders.
The 6-foot-5, 260-pound three-star prospect said he expects to visit Arizona State over the Memorial day weekend, Cal for its junior day, Washington in late June, Duke in late July, Nebraska sometime over the summer and he's trying to get to Colorado, too.

Those trips could be crucial as Hinnant inches closer to a decision.
"They'll definitely be important visits," Hinnant said.
"I'll be able to see what the people are like, how the coaches are with the players and how the atmosphere and the talent is at each campus. It's going to be super important to see the places. It's going to be exciting."
Hinnant's recruitment has taken off in recent months and he has offers from Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, Duke, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State, San Diego State, Washington and Washington State.
With new interest from USC, UCLA, Utah, Boston College and Boise State and those important visits coming up, Hinnant said he's just taking his time and seeing what plays out in the coming months.
A decision is not expected until later on.
"I'm still trying to soak it all in," Hinnant said. "It's pretty exciting. I'm still trying to see what's coming at me and trying to figure out each school right now. Hopefully seeing all these schools will help with that.
"They're all pretty even. I honestly don't have a favorite right now."
