Hines names top five

Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville linebacker Jermale Hines says he has formulated a top five college choice list. Of the five, he says only Ohio State has yet to offer a scholarship. But that doesn't mean the Buckeyes aren't interested.
"I've been text messaging back and forth with them," Hines said. "They are one of my favorites.

"Probably Ohio State, West Virginia, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois are my favorites. All of them except Ohio State offered."
Hines recently visited a number of colleges.
"I went on the Ted Ginn tour," Hines said. "It was tiresome, but it was very good."
Of the 12 schools Hines saw on the tour, he liked two in particular.
"Illinois and Wisconsin stood out," he said. "I thought they both had great coaching staffs and great facilities."
However that doesn't mean Hines is close to committing to either one or anyone else for that matter.
"I'm going to take all five official visits," he said.
The 6-foot-1 and 197-pound Hines made 98 tackles in Glenville's 12-1 2005 season. He had nine sacks and intercepted four passes. Hines said all of the schools he is interested in are recruiting him as a 'Will' linebacker.
