Hinds Talks About His USC Visit

Although multiple sources, including other players on the visit, have been reporting that Playa del Rey (Calif.) St. Bernard’s quarterback Rocky Hinds has committed to USC, the talented signal caller isn’t ready to make his decision ‘public’ just yet.
“I’m going to probably visit Nebraska next week and then I’ll make my decision,” Hinds said. “ I had a great time here though. I mean, this place is like my second home, I’m here all the time. It was fun meeting some of the recruits on the visit and going out with the guys. I talked a lot with Coach (Norm) Chow and Coach (Steve) Sarkisian and I like both guys a lot.

“USC is just a great school and has a great future. Their coaching staff is the best there is and they’re going to be winning a lot of games in the next few years. I know it would be fun to be a part of something like that.”
Hinds, 6-4, 210 pounds has also visited Cal, UCLA and Arizona State but the Trojans have been the heavy leaders from day one. In fact, Hinds actually told us last January that there was a chance he would commit to the Trojans shortly after Signing Day. When John David Booty ended up enrolling early at USC, many felt Hinds would look elsewhere but it still appears he’s SC bound.
