Hilton almost ready to decide

As far as running back/cornerback Mike Hilton of Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek is concerned, his recruitment pretty much is over. All that's left, he said, is to pull the trigger on a commitment.
"I have all the information I need," Hilton said.

According to the 5-foot-9, 175-pounder, his pledge will go to either Kentucky, Ole Miss or Mississippi State sometime during the next few weeks. He doesn't expect any other programs to enter the mix.
"I'm comfortable with those three," Hilton said. "I see myself [making a decision] in either early July or mid July."
Here's what stands out about each:
Kentucky - "Honestly, I like that they lost Randall Cobb. I talked to Coach [Joker] Phillips, and he said I reminded him of [Cobb] a lot. He said if I get up there, there's a good chance I could do what he did."
Ole Miss - "I like how Coach [Houston] Nutt has turned the program around. They work with a lot of small backs like Dexter McCluster. I talked to the running backs coach, and he said this year they'll be losing two backs. There's going to be a lot of open slots. That's another thing I like."
Mississippi State - "[Assistant coach John] Hevesy and I have built a strong relationship. I could call him and not even talk about football. I could talk about school, family, things I'm doing on the weekend. I can already see him as like family."
The three finalists are all even at the moment, Hilton said.
"I just want to make sure it's what I want when I make my decision, and where I could see myself staying for the next four years," Hilton said. "I want to be taken care of by the coaches, like father figures. I want them to keep me in line grade wise and make sure I do my best on the field."
