Hillis entertains his top four

Four-star Conway (Ark.) fullback Peyton Hillis has been a busy in-home host this week.
“It’s been a pretty exciting week,” he said. “On Monday, coach Gundy from Oklahoma was here. Coach Caldwell from Tennessee came on Tuesday. Turner Gill from Nebraska was here yesterday, and Danny Nutt from Arkansas was here tonight.

“Those are my top four schools, so I’ve had a chance to talk to them and get to know all those coaches a little better this week.”
Anyone make the biggest impression?
“They’re all good coaches and good guys,” he said. “It’s a hard decision right now.”
Hillis (6-2, 245, 4.7) is rated the nation’s No. 2 fullback by Rivals.com and the top player overall in Arkansas. This weekend, he’ll make his first official visit.
“I go to Oklahoma tomorrow,” he said. “I’m looking forward to seeing what the nation’s No. 1 program is like. I’m expecting to see some great players and great facilities – all that stuff you hear about.”
The following weekend (Dec. 19), he’ll be making his official visit to Arkansas.
“I don’t have Tennessee or Nebraska set up yet, but hopefully we’ll have those soon,” Hillis said.
