Hilliard at eight offers

Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier running back C.J. Hilliard picked up his first offer almost a full year ago, and the 5-foot-11, 185-pound back has consistently added offers since. His most recent, from Boston College, gives him eight total for the process.
"I am very interested in the [Boston College] offer right now," Hilliard said. "It is a great school with great academics. They want to use me in the slot as a hybrid position. I thought that was pretty cool.

"I am probably going to go up there this summer - probably in June - and hope to check it out more."
Besides Boston College, Hilliard also holds offers from Indiana, Iowa, Akron, Bowling Green, Ohio, Toledo and Western Michigan.
Additionally, Hilliard has been visited in-school by Duke, Connecticut, Arkansas and Nebraska in the last few weeks, and is expecting West Virginia and Wisconsin through his school next week. Visits to college campuses have been put on hold for a little while, however.
"I am going to try to finish the school year strong, then after school is done see what [colleges] I am interested in and go check those out," Hilliard said.
The most recent visit Hilliard took was to Iowa City for the Hawkeye's spring game on April 27, and the visit boosted Iowa to the top of his list.
"Iowa is definitely the team to beat right now," Hilliard said. "That was a great visit and I had a great time there with a lot of the coaches. Iowa's my favorite, but I am still open to other schools and want to see what other schools have to offer."
