Hill still waiting on offers

Southfield (Mich.) safety Cedric Hill played alongside three fellow classmates who have already received Division I offers, yet the 6-1, 185-pound Hill is still looking for his first offer despite an outstanding senior campaign.
"I've gotten some questionnaires from Georgia Tech and Missouri in the mail," Hill said. "I have Akron and Grand Valley talking to me heavy. They wanted my highlight tape, so I've got to get that together. They came to my school in the last week to check my grades."

The only school Hill visited this fall was Division II Wayne State. He did attend a camp with his teammate, Leviticus Payne, at Cincinnati this summer. Payne has since committed to the Bearcats, and would like Hill to join him.
"Leviticus said he would put a word in for me with Cincinnati," Hill said. "I just have to get my tape together and send it off to them."
Hill is a great sized free safety prospect who is rangy in pass coverage and also comes downhill hard in run support. He did not play much as a junior, however, and that has delayed his recruitment. This season he helped Southfield to an 8-4 record and a state quarterfinals appearance, registering three interceptions in the process.
