Highlight tape helps Goodman

Tahaan Goodman posted his junior season highlight tape and now schools from across the country are getting involved with the 2013 safety from Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.
South Florida is the first to offer Goodman, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect, and he said many other programs are interested.

Since all this interest is coming off a highlight film, Goodman said he's excited with how things are going so far.
"I just put my highlight tape up," Goodman said. "I finally finished it and put it up and once they saw it (South Florida) called and wanted to offer me. Basically, they offered me off my highlight tape.
"I don't know much about them yet. I didn't know too much about them before they offered. Off that highlight tape, a lot of schools have talked about offering me. I've been getting a lot of reactions from my highlight tape."
USC, UCLA, San Diego State, Arizona and Northwestern are also showing interest in Goodman, who finished with 45 tackles in his junior season and helped Rancho Cucamonga to an 11-2 record.
Since it's still so early in his recruitment, and Goodman has not taken any visits yet, he said he likes the three Southern California programs but he probably won't make any decisions until after he takes some trips.
"It is very exciting especially to get my first offer," Goodman said. "I want to learn more and more about the schools and try to figure everything out. I'm very excited right now.
"I like USC, UCLA and San Diego State. I like California. I haven't been anywhere out of the state though so I'm looking forward to my trips and after I take those I'll figure out what I really want."
