Highland WR getting looks

Highland (Kan.) Highland C.C. receiver Brandon Dixon is one of the top receivers in the Jayhawk Conference. He's got 30 receptions for 506 yards and five touchdowns this season.
While he doesn't have any offers at this point, the 6-foot-5, 205-pounder definitely is attracting some attention.

"Temple, Boise State, Idaho and Utah are the ones that are showing me the most intereset," Dixon said.
"I think Idaho is going to offer. I'm about to take a visit up there soon. I've not set any trips yet, but I think I'm going to set up at least a couple of them, though. Temple will probably get one of my first visits."
"I'll set Temple visit up in about two weeks."
Dixon is pleased with his season so far personally.
"I've been doing all right," he said "I've got all right stats, but I think they could be better. The team has done not so well. We're having a bad season. We've got a young offensive line. We are 2-5. The line is holding us back. The quarterback got sacked eight times last game."
Dixon said he would love to get more attention from some higher profile schools.
"I'm still looking to hear more from some of the South schools because I'm from the South and I'd like to be closer to home," Dixon said. "Someone like Tennessee or South Carolina would be great. Hopefully by the end of the semester I'm going to commit. I'll be able to transfer after this semester."
