Highland C.C. DE taking his time

Highland (Kan.) Highland C.C. defensive end Drew Hudgins is one of the big reasons why Highland was one of the biggest surprises in all of junior college football this season.
The 6-foot-5, 240-pound strongside defensive end had good season and the college coaches definitely took notice.

Hudgins took an official visit to both N.C. State and Colorado earlier this month. He said he picked up an offer from the Buffs while he was on his visit to Boulder.
At this point, he doesn't really know what he's going to do, though.
"The teams I've been hearing from the most are Colorado, N.C. State, North Carolina, Utah, Nebraska, Ole Miss and Kansas," Hudgins said. "I have offers from Colorado, North Carolina and Utah. I got the North Carolina offer from the old coaches, so I don't know what my status is with the new staff."
Hudgins said he really liked his official visit to CU and N.C. State, but wants to make a few more before he contemplates making his mind up.
"I'm just trying to keep an open mind right now," Hudgins said. "I just want to get all my visits in.
"We're trying to set stuff up with North Carolina because they were the first ones to offer. So we're trying to get something for this weekend or the next. Then I'm going to take a visit probably to Kansas."
What is his time table for a decision?
"I'm trying to make a decision as soon as possible," he said. "Probably in the next few weeks."
