Higgs set for visit two this weekend

Antwon Higgs is a defensive end/ linebacker prospect from Pompano Beach (Fla.) High School. Higgs, 6-2 and 250, is fresh off a great game in which he recorded 12 tackles, one sack, one interception, a forced fumble. He also caught two passes for 55 yards while playing tight end. More importantly they beat Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) High School 10-5.
"That was our first win so it was big," Higgs said. "We really played well on defense and I had a good game."

Higgs has already made one official visit and that was to Purdue (9-12) earlier this month. He makes his second official visit this weekend.
"The Purdue visit set the bar pretty high. They have some nice facilities and I like the coaching staff. I know they are really interested in me and I know how they will use me. Purdue is certainly a place where I know I can play early.
"I will go visit South Carolina (9-26) this weekend. I want to make sure I see those guys and meet all the guys and coaches. I want to get a good feel for South Carolina."
Higgs also mentions Louisville, West Virginia and Vanderbilt as possible teams he will (officially) visit in the coming weeks.
"I am sure what I will do but I am considering those schools to visit. I may take four official visits early and save that final one. There are some other schools out there and I will see just how interested they are. Plus, I may get some new offers."
Higgs and his teammates will take on American Heritage High School this coming weekend.
