Hickman still mulling decision

There hasn't been much change for Bakersfield (Calif.) Centennial lineman Jacob Hickman. The talented athlete has been down to three schools for some time and a clear leader has yet to emerge.
Hickman, 6-4, 250 pounds is one of the top linemen in the West region on both sides of the ball. He earned all-state underclass honors as a sophomore and junior and is getting looks on both sides of the ball although his preference is to play defense.

We'll never forget the toughness Hickman showed at this years NorCal Nike camp. Hickman had his leg rolled up on during the one on one drills but wanted to continue working out. He even took another rep in the drills before being forced to shut it down. Turns out, he suffered a broken leg but still tried to play through it.
"It's still UCLA, Arizona and Nebraska," Hickman said. "There are a lot of pluses at each school and no one has really separated themselves yet. I still want to commit early, before our season but it's going to be tough. UCLA is the local school and I like the coaching staff. Arizona is up and coming and has a very energetic staff as well and Nebraska has a great tradition and I really liked it there on my unofficial visit out there. It's going to be tough."
