Hickman picks the Ponies
After leaning toward SMU for quite some time, Rowlett, Texas, offensive guard Josh Hickman has decided to pull the trigger.
Hickman, a 6-foot-2, 277-pound offensive guard picked up an offer from the Ponies on August 20, and then he took an unofficial visit to SMU for its game against Texas Tech last weekend. It was while he was there that he picked SMU.

“It was the right place and the right fit for me,” Hickman said. “I liked the coaches, and I know that SMU is a program on the right track.”
Hickman was also recruited by Arkansas, Baylor, Iowa, Texas Tech and TCU. SMU was his lone offer.
