Hickman having good senior season

Greg Hickman is a good looking defensive prospect from Tampa Bay Tech High School. Hickman, 6-1 and 250 pounds, plays middle linebacker. He leads one of the top defenses in the Tampa area. They have one loss on the season and that was to state power Armwood 9-6.
"We do have a tough defense and right now we are 7-1," Hickman said. "We play Hillsborough this Friday and that will be a big game for us. We made the playoffs and we will play East Lake in first round."

So far this season Hickman has 68 tackles, two interceptions, three forced fumbles, one blocked field goal and one blocked punt.
"I mainly play linebacker but this week I played some nose guard and defensive tackle. It doesn't matter to me because I just want to play football. Most schools like me at linebacker. Only Purdue says they like me as a defensive linemam."
Speaking of schools, who's in the mix for visits from Hickman?
"I will take all my visits in January. I am supposed to visit FIU (1-16). I am talking about visiting Purdue, Michigan, and Michigan State.
"I am pretty open right now. Tradtion will probably be something important to me. Playing time won't really matter because I want to play for a good program."
Hickman had a good game on Friday night against Tampa Wharton. It looked like he had a fun time on the gridiron and he looks like a chatter box on the field.
"I love to talk on field but I back it up. Remember, it's a game. People have to remember that."
