Hiben narrows field to three

"I have 15 or 16 offers," Chaska (Minn.) Waconia tight end Joey Hiben said. "I think it's 16 now."
Has Hiben narrowed the field and begun to set up his official visits?

"It's down to three schools," Hiben said. "It's Stanford, Purdue, and Notre Dame."
"I don't quite have my visits set up yet. I think Notre Dame will be Dec. 3. Stanford will be a little later. I'll visit Purdue too. I'll figure it all out in a week or so."
Asked if he has a leader, Hiben said, "Honestly, all three are too close to say which one I like most. I'll decide that after my visits."
The 6-foot-5 and 235 pound Hiben is the No. 11 tight end prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 3 prospect in the state of Minnesota. Hiben is an outstanding blocker who has six receptions through five games this season.
