Heyward-Bey has change in plans

Owing Mills (Md.) McDonough wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey is now up to 10 scholarship offers. Heyward-Bey, a four-star prospect, stated last month that he planned to commit before the start of the season. Is that still the case?
"I think I am going to wait until I can take all five official visits before I decide. Because we play our games on Saturdays, I will not be able to take official visit until after my season ends. My season ends around mid-November," said the 6-foot-3, 195-pound wide out who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.38 seconds.

Heyward-Bey now boasts 10 scholarship offers.
"I have offers from Maryland, Alabama, Virginia, Michigan State, Pitt, Penn State, Marshall, Boston College, and a couple of others."
Does Heyward-Bey have a favorite at this point?
"I am wide open right now. Maryland and Virginia are the schools that I feel are recruiting me the hardest right now."
What does the talented wide receiver look for in a school?
"Student life and academics are the two most important things to me. The coaching staff is also important and so is playing time. Of the schools that are recruiting me, I would say Virginia gives me the best chance of playing early. Every guy wants to play early. If you lack the confidence to look for playing time, then why bother playing college sports."
Last season, Heyward-Bey had over 30 receptions for 798 yards and 12 touchdowns.
