Hester will visit UVA

For months now Kiy Hester has kept to himself, speaking to very few members of the media. Yesterday, however, the four-star defensive back from Montvale (N.J.) St. Joseph's broke the silence with news of a surprise visit to Virginia this coming weekend.
"I really don't know too much about Virginia but I've talked to Coach London," said the 6-foot-2, 200-pound Hester. "My trainer used to coach his son so they know each other very well. My trainer has told me Coach London is a great guy and everyone likes him."

This unique relationship fed Hester's interest in the Cavaliers.
"While down there I want to check out the facilities, see how good the team is, how they get after it and what the atmosphere is like down there," he said.
Hester boasts an impressive offer sheet and many schools are actively recruiting him.
"I just got off the phone with the coach from North Carolina," Hester said. "I've been talking to Vanderbilt a lot, Georgia Tech, Rutgers, Ohio State, California. I just started talking to a coach from Florida State. That's really it right now."
With all of these offers, many people are anxious to know when Hester will narrow down his list.
"I'm just waiting on a few more schools and hopefully by the end of this spring I'll have my list of top schools," he said."
Hester helped St. Joseph's to a 10-2 record last season.
