Compton (Calif.) Dominguez defensive back Aaron Hester took his final official visit to Miami this past weekend. Although the talented corner said he loved the visit, he added that his commitment to UCLA is now 100% solid.
Hester, 6-0, 180 pounds was just recently named to the CaHiSports 1st team all-state squad and is the top corner prospect in the region. The athlete was an early commitment to UCLA but took official visits to Washington, Arizona State and Miami.
"I had a great trip," Hester said. "I really liked the coaches a lot and depth chart wise, things are very open to play early. The coaches told me they only have three returning corners on the team and two of them are seniors so I'll have a chance to be an impact guy right away.

"The players were all cool and I like the family atmosphere there a lot. The only negative was the distance. I was just in Florida for the ESPN All-American game and by the third day of practices, I was really feeling how far away from home I was.
"Having my family around me is important and that's one long plane ride. I think Miami still wants to come in for a home visit but I'm 100% committed to UCLA right now and I'm done taking any more visits. UCLA has everything I'm looking for and now that they hired Norm Chow, I'm even more excited because they really needed an offense and he's the best there is."
