Hess is busy with junior day visits

Richlands, Va. offensive tackle Josh Hess continues to wait on more offers. In the meantime, the 6-foot-7, 285-pounder is taking unofficial visits including a junior day this past weekend to Maryland.
"I just got back from Maryland today, I went to their junior day," he said. "It was really good, I really liked it up there and I liked Coach Edsall and Coach Powell. He was real nice.

"They haven't offered yet as Coach Edsall wants to make sure they really want the person, but Coach Powell said he sees them offering."
Overall Hess was impressed.
"It was great, their facilities are top notch and I like the stadium," he said. "I went to the basketball game against Virginia, it was cool.
"I liked Coach Edsall too. He seemed like a real nice guy and I think he'll do big things at Maryland."
Hess has already taken junior day visits to North Carolina, Duke and Virginia as well.
Meanwhile, other schools are interested too.
"I'm going to try to get down to Wake Forest soon, they really like me," he said. "I'm trying to get to Florida, I've been talking to Coach Weis. I'm looking at going to those over spring practice."
Currently Marshall is the only scholarship on the table.
"I still got one from Marshall right now," he said. "A bunch of schools are talking about it, North Carolina and Virginia are coming down during spring practice and if they like me they'll offer. Maryland really likes me and Wake Forest."
Hess maintains no favorites at this time.
"I can't say I am favoring anybody, I'm taking it all in."
