Henry talks commitment timetable

Malik Henry is trying to re-schedule an unofficial visit to Florida State but with the end of the regular season approaching and playoffs coming up it has been a difficult process.
The 2016 five-star quarterback from Westlake Village (Calif.) Westlake was initially supposed to visit with the Seminoles a few weeks ago when they hosted Notre Dame but he decided to postpone that trip.

Henry, the second-best pro-style quarterback and No. 9 prospect overall in the 2016 class by Rivals.com, said he's still working with Florida State to visit this season but he said he's not certain it will happen.
"Right now I'm looking into it," Henry said. "I haven't officially made a decision yet but I'm definitely going to try to get down there.
"We've been talking and trying to figure out a good time. It's just my schedule is pretty hectic here now and we're getting into the meat of our season and playoffs so it's going to be a little hard but I'm definitely going to try to get down there."
If Henry can get to Florida State then he said his decision could be pushed back further. If a trip to Tallahassee does not seem possible then Henry said a commitment could be coming in the next few weeks.
Ohio State is also in Henry's top four but he said an unofficial trip there this season is also unlikely.
"If I can get down (to Florida State) it would be great and then I'd make my decision after," Henry said. "If I can't then it will probably be two or three weeks."
The top-rated player in the California state rankings for 2016, Henry said he remains in regular contact with coaches at Notre Dame and UCLA. He has taken unofficial visits to both programs this fall.
"I'm still talking to coach (Matt) LaFleur and I call coach (Brian) Kelly from time to time," Henry said.
"Everything is good. It's similar with UCLA. Taylor Mazzone and I talk all the time."
So far this season, Henry has thrown for 1,805 yards with 14 touchdowns and four interceptions. He has also rushed for 259 yards and three scores.
